1. Agreement and Eligibility
By accessing or using Bambu, you agree to these Terms and represent that you have authority to bind the individual or organization on whose behalf you use the service.
2. Service Scope
Bambu provides software for inventory management, point-of-sale workflows, customer and debt tracking, supplier and purchasing operations, notifications, analytics, subscriptions, AI assistant features, OCR and handwritten intake, and related business processes. Features may change over time as the platform evolves.
3. Accounts, Credentials, and Business Responsibility
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, assigning roles appropriately, selecting the correct business context, and maintaining accurate records. Unauthorized access, misuse, or suspected compromise must be reported promptly.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Bambu to violate law, infringe third-party rights, transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service integrity, or misuse platform resources.
5. Billing, Subscriptions, and Payments
Paid plans are billed according to the selected subscription terms. Bambu currently integrates with Lemon Squeezy for self-serve billing workflows and subscription webhooks. Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate agreement. Subscription creation, renewal, cancellation, trialing, verification, and billing-portal access may generate operational evidence in the Audit Trail.
6. Customer Data and Audit Trail
Customers retain ownership of data they submit to the service, subject to Bambu rights to host, process, transmit, and back up that data to provide the service. Material account, business, billing, privacy, AI, OCR, and admin actions may be recorded in the canonical Audit Trail for security, dispute resolution, support, billing review, and legal compliance.
7. AI, OCR, and Third-Party Services
If you use AI assistant, OCR, or handwritten-intake features, you instruct Bambu to process the submitted content using the configured third-party processors needed to deliver those features. You are responsible for ensuring that content submitted to those features is lawful and operationally necessary.
8. Confidentiality and Support Access
Each party must protect the other party’s confidential information using reasonable safeguards. Bambu support or admin personnel may access customer data only where needed for support, security, billing, privacy fulfillment, or incident investigation, and such access is expected to be auditable.
9. Intellectual Property
Bambu retains rights in the platform, software, visual assets, and service improvements, excluding customer-owned data and customer trademarks.
10. Suspension and Termination
Bambu may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, abuse, unlawful use, or material breach. Upon termination, access may be removed and data handling will follow the implemented retention and deletion rules, including any Audit Trail or finance evidence that must remain for investigation, compliance, or accounting purposes.
11. Warranties and Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in a separate written agreement, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." Bambu does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or suitability for every business use case.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bambu liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This clause should be read subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law.
13. Governing Law and Updates
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, subject to mandatory consumer or data-protection rules that apply in another jurisdiction. Bambu may update these Terms from time to time and will communicate material changes through the service or by email where required.
